IKS articulated scrapers are typically designed to pass pipeline wye connections whilst also negotiating tight bend radii. Articulated scrapers are used for a wide variety of applications, from flooding, cleaning, and gauging operations to dewatering, as well as operational maintenance operations. This type of scraper is also highly efficient in long-run dewatering/flooding operations as well as dual-diameter applications.

IKS articulated scraper standard configuration comprises three modules with articulation joints made from high-strength material ensuring safe and reliable performance. The leading module is equipped with a conical cup to minimize the bypassing of driving fluid and a rugged supporting element that assists centralization throughout the pigging operation.
