High Friction Piggable Plug (HFPP

The technology is an enhancement of well-established pigging technology, by utilizing through-wall communication to locate the plugs and to transmit internal pressure/temperature, upstream and downstream, of the isolation point. HFPP’s are primarily used to provide a low-pressure, high seal isolation of pipelines, during maintenance intervention work, as well as during pipelay flooding and dewatering. The typical model is supplied with eight polyurethane discs, two support/guide discs which assist loading and centralization in the pipeline and six sealing discs which drive and seal the pipeline. Isolation ability can be further enhanced by the addition of sealing disc depending on the pipeline condition.

All IKS scrapers are supplied with polyurethane bumper noses as standard. All IKS scrapers are designed to pass minimum 1.5D radius bends and negotiate full bore branches. All multi-bolt scraper body assemblies are welded to code standard BS EN ISO 15614- 1:2004+A1:2008.
